Here is a full size watercolor study for an acrylic painting I am preparing. I usually don’t try to be as detailed in my color study as I was here, but I realized the way it was going, it would make a decent watercolor composition that could stand alone. It was also fun.

My original drawing detail had a tree and a fence behind the woman, but in the watercolor I did not paint them in. I don’t think I will after composing the water color. I think I like it the way it is.
This is an 18X22 painting. I’ll tack it to my studio wall and see if it can pass the test of time before I decide on my acrylic composition. After a couple of weeks I’ll make a decision.
Again, my message is: Listen to your art and it will let you know what to do.
