This year break out of your cocoon.  Fly like a creative butterfly.  Finding your own way in art is more than deciding to paint realistically or abstractly.  It is more than listening to your art instructor or another artist  It is work, and its hard work, and its planning, and its hard planning, and its trial and error.  It is making decisions on your own successes and failures.  It is interpreting personal experiences and understanding personal preferences for mediums, color, form and perspective, and combining these and other expressive elements.

Just keep painting, keep experimenting, don’t be afraid to let your creativity to soar like an eagle with wings.  Be free!  Hang on to that bronco!  Have confidence and you will find your way.
